Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton's B-Line Division is seeking an Associate Product Line Manager to help grow the GEIS cable management product line across North America. This role blends sales leadership, commercial strategy, technical product support, and detailed business analysis. The successful candidate will work directly with sales teams, customers, channel partners, engineers, and product leadership to build pipeline, improve specification position, support strategic pursuits, and translate market insight into profitable growth. This position is intended as a development pipeline to a future Product Line Manager role. The individual will gain broad exposure to product strategy, pricing, forecasting, portfolio management, new product development, and cross-functional leadership while demonstrating readiness for expanded ownership.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nSales Growth and Commercial Leadership\n\nPartner with regional sales team, agents and distributors to identify opportunities, build pipeline, and win strategic projects.\nSupport customer visits, project reviews, and account planning with a clear focus on product adoption, competitive differentiation, and profitable growth.\nDevelop sales tools, customer presentations, value propositions, competitive positioning, and training that help the commercial organization sell effectively.\nLead Voice of Customer activities and convert customer, sales, and channel feedback into actionable commercial priorities.\nBuild relationships with consulting engineers, EPC firms, contractors, end users, utilities, data center customers, and other market influencers.\n\nProduct Line Strategy and Business Analysis\n\nSupport annual operating and strategic planning through market analysis, forecasting, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and growth recommendations.\nAnalyze sales, margin, pricing, mix, pipeline, market share, and program performance to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.\nSupport pricing, channel strategy, portfolio decisions, and business cases with detailed analysis and clear commercial rationale.\nTrack market trends and competitor activity to shape product and go-to-market priorities.\nManage multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and communication across sales, engineering, operations, finance, and marketing.\n\nTechnical and Specification Leadership:\n\nDevelop a strong working knowledge of cable management products and applications to provide credible technical and commercial support.\nImprove Eaton's specification position by engaging consulting engineers and EPC firms through open discussion and project-specific support.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear customer value, sales messaging, application guidance, and educational content.\nBring market requirements into product roadmaps and new product development priorities.\nProduct Marketing and Launch Execution\n\nDevelop product positioning, messaging, go-to-market plans, and market-development programs.\nSupport the commercial execution of new product introductions, portfolio expansions, campaigns, and customer communications.\nMeasure program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on sales results, customer adoption, and market feedback.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree from an accredited institution.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, product marketing, product management, engineering, sales support, or a related commercial role within the electrical industry.\nAble to travel approximately 25% across North America for sales calls, customer meetings, engineering presentations, training, project pursuits, conferences, and trade shows.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related technical discipline; MBA or advanced business degree\n5+ years of experience with electrical infrastructure products or cable management solutions.\nExperience supporting consulting engineers, EPC firms, contractors, utilities, industrial customers, data centers, or channel partners.\nKnowledge of cable bus, cable tray, conduit systems, or related power distribution solutions.\nDemonstrated success supporting sales growth, strategic project pursuits, pricing, and operational growth.\nExperience delivering technical presentations, customer training, or sales enablement programs.\nPosition Criteria:\nThe ideal candidate will combine commercial drive with technical curiosity and disciplined execution.\nSales-oriented and customer-focused, with the ability to identify opportunities and build internal and external relationships.\nComfort with technical detail and the ability to learn products and customer requirements quickly.\nAnalytical capability to work with detailed data, develop clear recommendations, and communicate the business story behind the numbers.\nSelf-directed, organized, and accountable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive work to completion.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
