Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton’s Commercial Products and Assemblies division is currently seeking a Coordinator, Back Storeroom to join our team. This position is based out of our Sumter, SC facility. The primary function of this role is to provide operational support, coordination, and subject matter expertise to the Storeroom team.\nThe Storeroom Coordinator will support Storeroom Supervision by coordinating daily activities to help ensure all material handling processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner to meet customer needs. This role will serve as a key point of contact for the storeroom, assisting with process execution, troubleshooting issues, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and collaborating with internal and external customers to support operational requirements.\nThe Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for maintaining process compliance and supporting inventory accuracy, material flow, and customer service objectives. Additionally, they will assist with training coordination, cross-shift communication, cycle count activities, reporting, and the resolution of material-related issues. Through effective coordination and communication, this role will help drive operational efficiency and support the achievement of production, quality, and service goals.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nCoordinate with production teams to procure required materials and components, including breakers, to support production schedules.\nProcess and complete all NCMRs accurately and route them to the appropriate parties by the end of each day.\nCoordinate and execute cycle counts as requested by Purchasing and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.\nReview and process kit checks to ensure materials are complete and available for production.\nParticipate in Tier 2 meetings and communicate material, inventory, and operational issues as needed.\nReview and maintain the Clear Dock Report, ensuring timely resolution of open items and material concerns.\nPerform process checks and audits to ensure compliance with storeroom procedures and inventory control standards.\nCollaborate with Production, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve material-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nQualifications:\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience required.\nPrior work experience using a computer, including competence in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel).\nForklift experience.\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Sumter (50 miles) will be considered for this position.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without company sponsorship\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nPrevious leadership experience is strongly preferred.\nPrior experience with AS400, Vista and DMM computer programs.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment.\nSkills:\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel.
