Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.\nWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Engineer Critical Power Solutions to join our team in Dubai to drive to drive the adoption of innovative power management and sustainability solutions across commercial and industrial (C&I) and datacenter applications.\nThis role combines technical expertise in UPS systems with consultative skills to help clients achieve their power availability goals for their mission critical applications.\nHe/She acts as Business Development Engineer steering and nurturing growth for 3ph UPS product lines and specific options within Middle East.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPro-actively initiate and execute CPS business development actions within CSOs, Eaton partners and customers in Middle East targeting profitable growth.\nEstablish framework of cooperation with Eaton sales ecosystem (Sales, presales, services, other BUs)\nDrive the increase of sales ecosystem product & application knowledge by support, identifying training needs and transferring knowledge and best practises across\nDrive effective product launches .\nFunction as a Voice of the Customer channel for product management when defining New products as part of NPD ProLaunch process.\nManage and support presales teams and sales in defining the optimal product portfolio for specific account and coach for the right value prop. and positioning.\nConsolidate local market input including local competitive landscape, pricing information as well general market trends and sharers the input with the specified audience\nPartners with CPS Product Managers and other BU functions and ensures they stay in close contact with markets and customers.\nOwns factory forecast for CPS Middle East business\nIdentify and prospect growth opportunities outside the current business\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; MBA is a plus.\nRelevant experience in business development, commerce, KAM or product management within 3ph UPS or power distribution or Datacenter industry.\nSkills:\nGood understanding of electrical equipment and requirements for low-voltage applications.\n\nGood knowledge of power electronics and UPS systems.\n\nAbility to take initiative, work autonomously, and drive activities to completion, with a strong customer focus.\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\n\nAbility to think and act strategically.\n\nProactive, passionate, and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.\n\nArabic language skills are an advantage.\n\nWhat we offer:\nBeing part of a company that has been in business for more than 100 years, is well known in the industry, and has a major impact on the energy industry\nWork in a company that is commitment to Inclusion & Diversity and Sustainability\nAnnual mentoring program, Eaton University, a reward, and recognition system\nOngoing Learning and Career Development Opportunities in a global company.
