This exciting opportunity provides responsibility for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing materials, managing supplier relationships, and supporting plant production requirements. The role also includes inventory management, supply chain projects, and cross-functional problem solving to remove supply constraints.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nExecute procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials to support plant production requirements.\nIdentify, evaluate, and qualify new and alternate sources of supply to ensure continuity, mitigate risk, and meet operational demand.\nAward, administer, and manage purchase orders and supplier agreements in accordance with company policies, procedures, and established procurement contracts.\nInvestigate and resolve invoice holds and price or quantity discrepancies to ensure timely supplier payment and prevent supply interruptions.\nCreate and escalate supply-related issues within the GPS system, ensuring timely and effective communication of risks and constraints to leadership.\nMaintain inventory levels aligned with targeted objectives and production requirements.\nLead or participate in cross-functional problem-solving efforts to remove supply constraints, partnering with operations, quality, and engineering teams.\nSupport supply chain projects, enterprise initiatives, and continuous commodity improvement efforts as assigned.\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and suppliers to drive performance, quality, and continuous improvement.\nPlan, coordinate, and conduct quality audits of new and existing suppliers to assess product specifications, materials, and compliance with procurement requirements.Conduct supplier site visits and meetings at company locations to review product specifications, delivery performance, and improvement opportunities.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 10 years of progressive supply chain experience\nExperience working in a material requirement planning (e.g. SAP) system\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, 1-485 job portability, etc\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply chain management, Business Administration, or Engineering from an accredited institution.\n5+ years of experience working in a material requirement planning (e.g. SAP) system\n2+ years of planner experience in a manufacturing environment\nPrevious experience in a custom order engineering environment\nSAP or AS400 experience\nSkills:\nExperience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)\nBasic knowledge of computerized inventory systems, scheduling techniques, general manufacturing, and ability to interpret drawings, prints and Microsoft office.\nExperience reporting to leadership and cross functional teams\nStrong analytical, presentation, and customer service skills\nProficient knowledge of Eaton systems (Powerlink & AS400): Inventory Transactions, and familiarity with purchase orders; Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a plus.\nProduct knowledge of components used in the Greenwood facility.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
