The position will be based at our El Paso, Texas facility.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $59000 - $86000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Indirect Buyer procures indirect goods and services to support site operations while ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures. They manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, and delivery timelines to meet business needs. The role ensures services and materials are executed effectively and supports daily operations through efficient, cost-effective sourcing.\nJob Responsibilities\nCreate and manage purchase orders based on operational and internal customer needs\nEnsures invoicing and payments are up to date with suppliers based on their payment terms working alongside with Accounts payable.\nExpedite, reschedule, and track orders to ensure timely delivery and minimize disruptions\nCollaborate with operations and finance to support capital purchase orders\nTake ownership of material and services supply risks and proactively address potential impacts to operations\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers\nIdentify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse supply base\nSupport supply chain metrics, goals, and overall site performance\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.\nMinimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or supply chain\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
