Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Co-op Student will assist new product design engineers and other operations personnel by performing tasks and assignments related to planning, machining, assembling and testing hydraulic components and systems for aerospace and military applications. Daily activities will include cross-functional interaction with quality, procurement, and design.\nPotential tasks are summarized below:\n1. Perform production analysis and recommend process improvements.\n2. Learn lean concepts and tools. Participate in lean “kaizens.”\n3. Design and model machining and assembly fixtures and cutting tools.\n4. Operate and maintain 3D printers.\n5. Perform and develop monthly performance reports via ERP system and Access databases.\n6. Utilize ERP system in planning work order releases, etc.\n7. Learn to develop production processes via Computer Aided Process Planning.\nThroughout the training cycle, this program provides participants with meaningful projects where individual efforts and contributions are critical. Participants will receive multiple opportunities for formal training, networking, and assignment coaching in addition to receiving ongoing formal feedback in order to evaluate personal progress and identify development opportunities.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled as Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior level or received a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering at an accredited Institution.\nGPA of 3.0 or higher.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.\nMust be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.\nThis position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
