We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segements.\nThe Coil Winder (Machine Operator)- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 1:45 PM- 10:15 PM. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment.\nThe hourly rate for this position is $29.80/Hour per hour plus a $1/hour shift premium.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThis position will be responsible for winding coils used in electrical equipment and instruments or as electronic components, according to wiring diagrams, sample coil, or work order, using coil-winding machines and hand tools. Reviews wiring diagrams and work order or examines sample coil to ascertain type and size of wire specified, and type, size, length, circumference, and primary and secondary windings of coil to be wound.\nIn this function you will:\nWind standard coils for dry type transformers\nUtilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands\nInspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.\nMaintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards\nAdhere to company regulations, including adherence to policies regarding safety, attendance and punctuality\nInterpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints\nKeep all work areas clean, organized and presentable\nComply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basics):\nMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future\nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\n6 or more months of soldering/brazing/welding experience OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution or high school trades course\nPreferred:\nHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution\nForklift operator certification (can be trained on-site) \n3 or more years of experience in related field preferred\nPrevious Machine Operation experience\nSkills:\nAbility to lift 40 pounds\nRepetitive use of mallet to shape coils is required. \nAbility to weld and braze\nAbility to wear required Personal Protective Equipment as required\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time. \nRepetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position. \nPushing & Pulling is required during the manufacturing process\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
