The work will be process-based, will deploy analytical costing models and involve close collaboration with business stakeholders and subject-matter experts.\n\"1. Build should-cost models for parts and products using internal and external sources of information, tear-down analysis etc.\n2. Develop cost estimates for PCB/PCBAs, electrical/electronic components, ECUs, sensors, connectors, wiring harnesses, motors, actuators, power electronics and electromechanical and mechatronics assemblies.\n3. Analyze electronic BOM, raw-material, manufacturing, assembly, testing, tooling, overhead and supplier profit costs.\n4. Run relevant should costing software and analytical models to generate cost estimates.\n5. Validate cost estimates through benchmarking, supplier inputs, manufacturing knowledge and subject-matter experts.\n6. Perform Total Cost of Ownership, supplier quotation and cost-gap analysis.\n7. Reporting and Analytics - Should have good experience on data analysis, report preparation and presentation to senior leadership.\n8. Support supplier negotiations, NPI, VAVE, cost-out and cost-avoidance initiatives.\n9. Develop cost estimates using combination or individual approach - directional, manual and aPriori driven should costing\"\nThis role would be for Mobility business. Eaton have recently announced to entered into a definitive agreement to combine our Mobility Group with Dana Incorporated - creating a scaled and differentiated engineered solutions partner well-positioned to serve commercial and light vehicle OEMs worldwide, as well as the associated aftermarket channels.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or related engineering discipline\n\"Bachelor's Degree - 6-10 years of experience in should-costing, product costing or cost engineering\nOr\nMaster’s Degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience.\"\nSkills:\n\"\nStrong knowledge of electrical and electronics commodities, including PCB/PCBA, electronic components, inverters, wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, ECUs, motors, actuators and power electronics.\nGood understanding of PCB fabrication, SMT, through-hole assembly, soldering, programming, testing and electronic assembly processes.\nWorking knowledge of electrical and electronic BOMs, schematics, component specifications, manufacturing processes, cycle times, yield and tooling.\nBasic knowledge of mechanical commodities, including plastics, sheet metal, rubber, machining, die casting and mechanical assemblies.\nProficiency in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, procurement processes, PPAP, GD&T and raw-material analysis.\nExpertise in at least one should-costing tool, such as aPriori etc.\nWorking knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Creo or SolidWorks;
