Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton’s Engineering Service & Systems Division is seeking a Financial Coordinator to join our team. Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems division assists customers at every stage of the power system: offering start-up and commissioning of equipment, performing planned maintenance, monitoring performance, diagnosing system problems remotely, as well as responding to emergencies on a 24/7 basis, 365 days a year. Our support services help businesses make the most of their existing electrical equipment by optimizing performance and extending the life of existing facilities.\nThe Financial Coordinator is a pivotal position to the District Operations Center’s success. Financial Coordinators oversees purchase orders, job costing, invoicing, and financial tracking to ensure projects are executed accurately, profitably, and in alignment with negotiated terms. The role coordinates materials, labor, test equipment, and system updates while monitoring job costs, overtime, and financial performance against selling price and margins. Financial Coordinators also serve as a key liaison between customers, sales, operations, and internal partners to resolve issues quickly and support successful project delivery.\nIn this position you will:\nAcknowledge all purchase orders, obtain proper insurance certificates and assure that terms and conditions are presented to customer. \nReconcile all purchase orders with the in-house negotiations to assure matching between promises and expectations. \nOpen orders on system to gather, track and reconcile costs associated with jobs. \nIssue purchase orders via Oracle Purchasing System. \nMaintain test equipment and arrange for calibration of equipment. \nAccurately reconcile and invoice orders via Oracle Project Costing system. \nComplete various office administration responsibilities as required.\nMonitor overtime of the productive workforce and reconcile the overtime with the signed time slips from the customer or from the job cost inventory system.\nField emergency customer calls to gather critical information and pass it on to appropriate party for action \nMaintain, track and control job costs to achieve the best ratio compared to the actual selling price. \nOrganize/obtain necessary materials and proper test equipment based on job requirements. \nKeep sales engineers abreast of potential problems and opportunities with the customer, unless other terms have been negotiated.\nBuild positive relationships with customers and facilitate process to get customer issues resolved expeditiously \nSuccessfully interact with internal Eaton manufacturing plant personnel, legal, contracts, sales and suppliers to schedule and obtain necessary resources and information \nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nMinimum Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management or Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience incost accounting, customer support, supply chain, or business; OR In lieu of degree, military experience or 4 years of experience in cost accounting customer support, supply chain, or business.\n\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
