Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe EHS Analyst supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to help achieve site, business group, and corporate EHS objectives. This role partners with site leadership to identify and assess EHS risks, establish targeted improvement initiatives, and drive compliance with company standards. The EHS Analyst supports employee engagement across all shifts through effective communication, training, and awareness campaigns that promote a proactive, zero-incident safety culture. Additionally, the role facilitates the involvement of the site MESH team, fostering ownership and accountability for key MESH elements while supporting continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance.\nIn this role you will:\nWorks with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations. \nUses established EHS data platforms such as Benchmark to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.\nWork with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.\nSupports security assessments, workstation risk assessments, ergonomic assessments, and continuous improvement.\nCoordinate IH assessments (ex. noise, hex chrome, welding) and employee medical evaluations (ex. respirator use)\nAttend incident investigations (injuries, incidents, spills, property damage & near misses), manage on time closure and escalation of all corrective actions\nAssist with layered process audits for EHS processes and ensure follow-through and closure of findings (ex. SWPP, SPCC, air permit checks, daily safety walks, waste inspections)\nManages ISO 14001 actions using a project plan approach and provide weekly status updates\nSupporting problem solving and tier meetings for various value streams.\nSupport Emergency Response Team.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution OR 1 year of experience in environmental, health and safety.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental discipline.\nOSHA & Environmental compliance management experience.\nActive involvement with Emergency Response Teams (ERT).\nStrong EHS background with emphasis on environmental programs.\nSkilled in industrial hygiene oversight and implementation.\nExperience in heavy industrial environments including fabrication and welding operations.\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
