The role provides EHS guidance to business leaders, Field Service Engineers, employees, contractors, and project teams, while coaching managers to strengthen safety leadership and drive continuous improvement.\nThis is an on-site role based in Vantaa, Finland, with regular travel to customer and project sites across Finland.\nThe role has two main areas of focus:\nProject Sites (40-60%)\nVisit customer project sites to conduct EHS inspections, training, documentation reviews, and incident investigations.\nWork directly with customer EHS representatives and project stakeholders.\nReview RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) to ensure hazards, risks, controls, and applicable EHS requirements are adequately addressed.\nMonitor contractors’ compliance with site EHS procedures and escalate non-compliance.\nSupport incident and near-miss investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.\nExercise stop-work authority when imminent danger or unsafe conditions are identified.\nCountry-Level EHS Responsibilities (40-60%)\nSupport the Nordic Cluster EHS Manager and local Services & Sales teams in ensuring legal and MESH compliance.\nDeploy EHS initiatives, programs, communications, and practical training in the local language.\nConduct field EHS inspections and support EHS KPI monitoring and reporting.\nIdentify EHS risks and improvement opportunities and develop appropriate corrective actions.\nCoordinate required safety training and support local safety initiatives.\nRepresent Eaton on EHS matters with customers, contractors, and Authorized Service Providers.\nManage customer EHS questionnaires, Safety Files, and safety prequalification requirements.\nMonitor changes in applicable EHS regulations and provide guidance to the business.\nPromote open communication, best-practice sharing, and a strong safety culture across field teams.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (required).\nMaster’s degree in a related field is preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience, ideally within an industrial, electrical, manufacturing, or engineering environment.\nEHS related certifications are a plus/advantage such as NEBOSH\nSkills:\nKnowledge of local EHS legislation and safety standards with professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous)\nIn depth knowledge of safety and industrial hygiene practices and regulations with basic understanding of industry standards related to Health & Safety as applicable to the region.\nManagement system knowledge (ISO 14001/ISO 45001)\nAble to lead risk assessments and audits.\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.\nStrong computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, PowerApps, etc.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to analyze safety data and determine gap closure.\nKnowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment.\nPrevious experience delivering informative/instructional presentations to field-based and management-level employees.\nExperience developing safety and training programs.\nPossess a cooperative temperament and have demonstrated the ability to create and maintain a positive working relationship with employees and contractors.\nExperience analyzing safety related incidents, including analysis of root cause.\nPossession of a valid unrestricted driver’s license.\nFluent in Finish and
