Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPosition Overview\nReporting to the Production Supervisor, the Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling and wiring standard and engineered control assemblies, as well as performing full functional and some electrical testing on products within the Modification Shop.\nWhat You’ll Do\nInterpret drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other verbal or written instructions to perform electrical and mechanical assembly.\nDetermine proper wiring sequence, layout, and component location based on product documentation.\nAssemble and wire standard and engineered control assemblies in accordance with required specifications.\nPerform functional and some electrical testing to verify workmanship and product performance.\nComplete work in accordance with CSA, UL, and CEC codes, as well as company quality requirements.\nProvide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness, safety, quality, and efficiency of the work area.\nActively support and participate in department meetings, safety programs, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality management programs.\nComply with all safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and the safe, competent operation of equipment.\nPerform other related duties as assigned within the facility.\nPerform all job functions in accordance with Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, Code of Ethics, and safety and environmental standards.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications\nMinimum Grade 12 diploma or an equivalent level of education from an accredited institution.\nPrior manufacturing or assembly experience.\nMust be legally authorised to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position; candidates must reside within 100 km of the work location.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environment.\nExperience with machining operations, particularly milling and drilling equipment.\nComputer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.\nSkills:\nPosition Success Criteria\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work efficiently and safely as a team member in a manufacturing or distribution environment.\nAbility to learn new tasks and concepts quickly while managing multiple priorities.\nAbility to problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nStrong customer-service focus, professionalism, confidentiality, and time-management skills.\nStrong work ethic and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
