Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThis position is responsible for design and certification of electrical components as part of Aerospace systems. The individual will be responsible for supporting and eventually leading electrical/electronic activities for new product development including: analyzing requirements and assessing compliance, defining interfaces, reviewing component spec and de-rating, designing PCB/PWB, writing electronic test and qualification plans, supporting product design full life cycle management. This individual will grow into providing technical expertise and guidance to team members and mentoring new engineers. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for supporting operation and field service teams with analysis and troubleshooting of legacy products as needed.\nSupport small to medium integrated product development teams and projects\nDesign, analyze, and test mixed signal PCB’s (Analog and Digital) for oxygen and nitrogen product lines.\nInterpret specifications and drawings\nDevelop test protocols and write test reports\nSupport in house and off-site electrical testing as needed\nInterface with customers as part of development programs\nWork with suppliers on component and sub-system development\nProvide innovative ideas for improvements to new and existing products\nProvide technical expertise to support Manufacturing, Field Support Engineers, and customers\nSupport bids and proposals for new, modified, or upgraded products\nMaintain an attitude supportive of continuous improvement, teamwork, cooperation, respect, and integrity\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program\nAbility to read and generate electrical schematics\nNo relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered.
