Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nInstall equipment & instrumentation for use in evaluation of power systems products\nPerform product testing to industry standards\nUse computer-based test equipment for recording and analysis of test data\nOrganize test data and prepare test reports\nFabricate, modify and repair electronic assemblies and related hardware\nTest lab maintenance and organization\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nAssociates degree in Electronics/Electrical from an accredited institution\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering laboratory, validation, test, manufacturing, or engineering technical support role.\nMinimum of 1 year of soldering experience OR a certificate in soldering\nMust be willing to work in a high-power lab test environment\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working with single and multiphase low voltage electrical systems\nUnderstanding of Electronic circuit theory of operation and troubleshooting\nExperience working with medium voltage electrical systems\nExperience with Electronic component parametric evaluation\nUse of electronic test instrumentation including digital oscilloscopes, power meters, digital multimeters and data loggers\nExperience with setup and test for product certifications\nExperience utilizing Electromechanical prototype fabrication techniques, tools and materials\nPCBA rework, modification and soldering techniques\nKnowledge of basic electricity\nCollaborative orientation, the ability to succeed in a highly team oriented, global, and diverse environment\n#LI-LS3\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
