Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Electrical Technician is responsible for final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products to ensure quality and compliance prior to shipment. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans, conduct electrical and electronic testing, and inspect components and connections across a wide range of products, including structures, units, panels, panelboards, controls, and assemblies. You will confirm proper functionality, diagnose and resolve issues, and document or complete required repairs. Success in this position requires the ability to accurately interpret diagrams, schematics, work instructions, and engineered test procedures.\nInterpret and follow verbal and written instructions, drawings, and specifications to set up, inspect, and test equipment\nPerform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing; inspect panels, assemblies, and components to verify quality and functionality\nTroubleshoot test failures, determine root causes, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and supervisory teams on corrective actions\nValidate customer orders for accuracy and completeness; support customer inspectors during testing and inspection processes\nRecommend and assist with improvements to assembly, wiring, calibration, and testing methods; ensure required changes and repairs are completed\nMaintain test equipment, calibration status, test documentation, and inspection records\nAdhere to all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, hygiene standards, and housekeeping practices\nPosition Criteria:\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications\nMust have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.\nMust have two (2) years of experience in power distribution or electrical distribution, OR currently enrolled in or have graduated with an Associate's degree program in Electrical/Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position.
