Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThis position will be responsible for testing and/or modifying electrical equipment post-production, prior to shipment to customers. It will also be responsible for inspecting product functions and monitoring test procedures.\nIn this function you will:\nPerform system tests, including IR and dielectric testing, and complete written test reports, logs and records Troubleshoot electrical problems in complex systems\nTroubleshoot AC/DC circuitry and printed circuit assemblies to the component level Assemble, set-up programs and perform functional tests on circuit boards\nOrganize work by receiving work requests; studying wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.\nTesting systems and electrical components; determining cause of problems and requirements to solve problems\nUse test equipment including digital meter, current meter, out of phase transformer, variac transformer resistive load bank, hi-pot tester, current clamp, computer, and infrared camera\nMaintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and codes\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic):\nHigh School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution\n1-3 years of experience in electrical test or related electronic technologies field, preferably in a manufacturing environment\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50 mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\nPreferred:\nAssociates degree in electronics or electrical engineering technology\nPrior training with electrical equipment and testing procedures Read and understand one-line drawings, wire lists, and schematics\nProficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)\nUnderstanding of delta-wye 3 phase transformer and resistive load bank technology\nSkills:\nMay be required to sit, stand and walk on a regular basis.
