At Eaton, we’re dedicated to enhancing quality of life and protecting the environment with our innovative energy management technologies and services.\nEaton’s ES EMEA SERV division is currently seeking a EMEA Services Power Distribution Trainer.\nWhat you’ll do:\n\"The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver technical training on Eaton Power Distribution products, systems and services to Eaton employees, Authorized Service Partners (ASPs), contractors and customers throughout the EMEA region.\nThe Power Distribution Systems Services Trainer acts as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and is responsible for the effective transfer of technical knowledge and practical skills through classroom, virtual and hands-on training programs.\nWorking closely with Product Management, Engineering, Service Operations, Marketing, Sales and other stakeholders, the trainer supports the development, review and continuous improvement of training materials, training programs, and learning content to ensure alignment with business requirements, product developments, industry standards, and customer needs.\nThe successful candidate has strong technical knowledge and practical experience in the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution equipment, including switchgear, power transformers, protective relays, and motor control centers.\"\n\"Develop and update training materials and programs related to Eaton high- (and Low) voltage Power Distribution (PD) products.\nDeliver training, theoretical, practical, hands on training. Medium Voltage and Low Voltage.\nEvaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and implement improvements.\nSupport technical staff with complex issues and problems.\nStay up to date with the latest electrical requirements, developments and innovations in the field.\nCollaborate with other departments such as Management, R&D, Marketing and Sales to identify and fulfil training needs.\nMember of the EMEA PD Training Center Team who conduct e-learning, classroom training, hands-on training and coordinate training events.\nCreate, maintain and update lesson plans and classroom-reference materials.\nWork closely with product-line managers and factory reliability engineers to develop the curricula for new training programs.\nResponsible for preparing and conducting training events including, but not limited to, communicating the set-up, scheduling, travel, \"\nQualifications:\nQualifications & Skills\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred, or a minimum EQF Level 4 technical qualification.\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in testing or field service activities involving Medium Voltage (MV) power distribution systems and equipment.\nTechnical knowledge of electrical power systems, including switchgear, transformers, and motors, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge.\nKnowledge of electrical safety practices, including EN 50110.\nStrong presentation, communication, and technical writing skills.\nExperience creating training materials using Microsoft Office, Teams, and digital learning tools.\nUnderstanding of adult learning principles.\nFluent in Dutch and English.\nNice to have:\nExperience with Eaton Medium Voltage equipment.\nKnowledge of Eaton Low Voltage products and MESH procedures.\nFamiliarity with NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.\nKnowledge of German and/or French.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
