The targeted applications are such as Data center, Industrial, Commercial buildings of North America.\n- Having an intensive knowledge in UL 857 & CSA C22,2 No . 27 standards to test and qualify the assemblies as per North America standards.\n- Responsible for design engineering analysis on Busbar design, mechanism, housing ,sheet metal etc. A strong electromechanical design knowledge and system integration\n- Lead multiple projects/programs/teams through execution of these programs/projects in a timely manner, supporting the business goals\n- Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process\n- Review new product development using appropriate tools and techniques such as DFSS, DFR, DMAIC, Tolerance stack-up etc. Should have good understanding of Design for manufacturing and assembly.\n- Review reliability predictions, Design Failure Modes and Effects analysis (FMEA) and structural/thermal/CFD/MBD results.\n- Develops test plans for short circuit, temperature rise, arc test in accordance with IEC/UL standards. Creates test requirements, plan for assembly and finalize test parameters & instrumentation. Responsible for conducting tests by ensuring deployment of standard practices. Assesses test results, root cause analysis through test findings/failures and takes corrective/preventive actions\n- Knowledge on PLM systems (Enovia, SAP, Bid manager) will be an added advantage.\n- 3D modelling, detailing and drafting experience on 3D CAD tool. (Preferred Autodesk Inventor)\nProduct Ownership:\n- Colloborate with Global systems engineers, sales/marketing and manufacturing development teams to produce engineering designs and specifications for new features and enhancements.\n- Demonstrates capability in end to end design & development of switchgear product line as per marketing requirements\n- Ability to guide simulation engineers on Short circuit and Thermals\n- Leverage / Establish capability to leverage local eco system for faster validation and execution\n- Ability to make decisions on new and sustaining product lines towards feature enhancements, maintenance\n- Accountable for providing engineering solutions for field issues, retrofits, etc.\nTechnology & Innovation leadership:\n- Generate ideas and innovative solutions which will provide competitive edge to business products.\n- Builds awareness about learning industry standards like IEEE, UL, etc. while leveraging our internal codes and standards team to ensure product compliance.\n- Performs other duties as required to achieve departmental and division objectives.
