This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune.\nKey Responsibilities:\nThe incumbent will contribute to mechanical and thermal engineering assignments and works with cross-functional teams to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.\nPerform engineering calculations related to heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid flow, pressure drop, and mechanical design\nSupport laboratory setup, instrumentation, testing, data collection, analysis, and documentation\nAssist with prototype builds, product qualification, design verification, and resolution of clearly defined technical issues\nParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, root-cause investigations, and corrective-action activities\nPrepare engineering reports, test plans, specifications, and drawing-release documentation using the product data management system\nSupport material and manufacturing-process selection for machined, sheet-metal, molded, and assembled components\nCollaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, suppliers, laboratory, electrical, controls, and safety teams\nContribute to projects involving cooling distribution units, rear-door heat exchangers, manifolds, hot-aisle containment systems, chillers, and facility-water-system interfaces\nFollow engineering standards, safety practices, quality processes, and project schedules\nBuild technical capability through coaching, training, and hands-on project assignments\nExperience / Qualifications:\nGood understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, pressure drop, and thermal-system operation.\nFamiliarity with data center cooling architectures and equipment such as cooling distribution units, rear-door heat exchangers, manifolds, chillers, and facility-water system is preffered.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, test data, product specifications, and technical standards.\nHands on experience on any CAD software, parametric modeling, drawing detailing & assembly build up is desirable.\nFamiliarity with product lifecycle management or document-management platforms such as ENOVIA, SAP, or SharePoint is derisrable.\nConcept building & Design thinking, collaboration with cross-functional teams.\"\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.\n3 to 5 years of experience in engineering design and development of mechanical or thermal systems\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher with 3 - 5 years of experience in design and development of mechanical or thermal systems\nSkills:\n1. Good understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, pressure drop, and thermal-system operation.\n2. Familiarity with data center cooling architectures and equipment such as cooling distribution units, rear-door heat exchangers, manifolds, chillers, and facility-water systems.\n3. Experience creating technical reports, design guides, specifications & test procedures for thermal systems.\n4. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, test data, product specifications, and technical standards.\n5. Hands on experience on any CAD software, should have worked on parametric modeling, drawing detailing & assembly build up.\n6. Familiarity with product lifecycle management or document-management platforms such as ENOVIA, SAP, or SharePoint.\n7.
