Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPRIMARY FUNCTION:\nEaton’s PDCA Power Distribution Control Assembly division in El Paso is seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator Technician for its Electrical Sector in the Power Distribution and Control Assemblies. The Engineering Change Coordinator will be in El Paso, TX.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nThe Engineering Change Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) implementation throughout the product lifecycle. This position serves as the primary liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure engineering changes are accurately reviewed, implemented, and communicated in a timely manner. The role is critical in maintaining product integrity, minimizing production disruptions, and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate and manage the engineering change process from initiation through implementation and closure.\nReview Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for completeness.\nFacilitate cross-functional meetings to evaluate the impact of proposed engineering changes.\nMaintain engineering change records, documentation, and revision control on Engineering change implementation App.\nCommunicate engineering changes to all affected departments.\nCoordinate implementation plans to ensure seamless transition of new product revisions, specifications, and documentation.\nMonitor engineering change activities to ensure compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.\nSupport risk assessments related to design, process, material, and supplier changes.\nCollaborate with Warehouse and Supply Chain teams regarding inventory disposition and material phase-in/phase-out activities.\nTrack engineering change metrics and provides status reports to management.\nAssist in continuous improvement initiatives related to change management processes.\nSupport internal and external audits related to engineering documentation and change control.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 2 years of experience in engineering change management, manufacturing operations, product development, or project coordination.\nKnowledge of Engineering Change Management (ECM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and document control processes.\nExperience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Plex, or similar).\nFamiliarity with CAD systems and engineering drawing interpretation.\nThis position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
