This position is based at our Arden, NC location.\nThe hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe essential function of the FAB Machine Operator is to perform technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery.\nIn this function you will:\nA. Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations\nB. Understand / Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor\nC. Perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines\nD. Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts\nE. Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings\nF. Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions\nG. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation\nH. Inspect final component against work specifications\nI. Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment\nJ. Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipment\nK. Provide on-the-job training for new Operators\nL. Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily\nM. Complete any other assigned tasks from management or leads\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution\nBasic Computer skills - Microsoft Office(Word), Internet, etc.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
