This is a full time, on-site position based at our Galesburg, MI facility.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nEaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nFacilities\nManage the operating budget for the facility (~$4.5M)\nResponsible for facilities master planning and capital outlay implementation\nOversees lease and tenant operations, coordinating tenant requirements and activities to ensure alignment with site operations, facility needs, and business objectives.\nDefine and maintain a facilities management strategy focused on sustainability, workspace optimization, and building functionality\nSupport the product line and testing initiatives for growth, innovation, and sustainment.\nSite Leadership\nResponsible for delivering a positive overall customer experience at the site\nPrimary point of communication with the Galesburg community, drives engagement of direct and indirect organization\nCreate and maintain an overall site strategy and leads the site leadership team and all employee meetings\nResponsible for collaborating with site HR Manager to: support the creation and enforcement of site policies, drive development, recurring 1:1 meetings, facilitate community and internal engagement (i.e. employee survey, leadership roundtables, etc.)\nEHS\nLead the environmental health, safety, and security strategy and operations at the Galesburg (Michigan), Anderson (Indiana) and Brampton (Ontario) sites\nResponsible for overseeing management of the MESH system through EHS team members within the organization.\nResponsible for site emergency response and contractor management\nDrives alignment and execution of global safety expectations with the site\nMonitors internal/external regulations/standards to help guide the site toward continued compliance (MESH, EHS, ISD, TS, OSHA, ISO etc.).\nCertified to Hazwoper 24hr. Level III Technician\nQualifications:\nRequired Basic Qualifications:\nMinimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution \nMinimum five (5) years of industrial experience in Facilities management and/orEnvironmental, Health and Safety processes. \n\nMinimum 3 years managing people\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nJourneyman’s card in a trade\n3 years of experience with electrical distribution, heating/cooling, R&D Laboratory, and master planning\nExperience managing a facility over 200,000 sq feet\nSkills:\nMust be results-oriented and highly adaptable \nSupportive team player in a corporate environment\nAbility to achieve results in a matrix environment\nAbility to influence outside of a direct reporting relationship\nProject management skills\nAbility to balance between delegation and a hands-on approach with critical assignments\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
