At Eaton, we are committed to Lead, Invest and Execute for Growth.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team supporting some of the largest and most advanced data center projects across Finland and the Nordic region.\nWhat you’ll do:\nAs a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in large-scale data center projects, working as a UPS systems commissioning engineer and providing first-class commissioning services as part of project and commissioning teams.\nYou are a professional electrician, a strong team player, and someone who enjoys technical challenges in critical power environments.\nThe role includes travel across the Nordic region as required (approximately 25%).\nYou will be responsible for overseeing data center commissioning activities on behalf of Eaton Field Service, both within the local service unit and, where required, across the wider regional cluster.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide the highest level of technical expertise in all data center commissioning activities.\n\nSupport and train local Field Service Engineers.\n\nManage key account technical escalations, providing support to both engineers and customers, including site visits when required.\n\nDrive escalations through to resolution and provide technical feedback where necessary.\n\nWork closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and supporting the selection of suitable engineers.\n\nConduct site visits as required.\n\nSupport the Project Management Organization with high-profile customers by providing technical expertise and on-site support.\n\nMaintain strong links with Eaton business units and factories, acting as a focal point for commissioning procedures, testing activities, and technical exchanges.\n\nManage subcontractor teams.\n\nPerform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineers and subcontractors, ensuring Eaton's high standards are maintained.\n\nQualifications:\nSuitable electrical education\n\nElectrical installation background\nExperience in three-phase electrical installation or maintenance\n\nGood understanding of switch panels and power distribution systems\n\nFluent English\n\nFinnish language skills would be a plus\n\nSkills:\nStrong communication skills.Customer-focused mindset.\n\nFlexible and proactive approach.\n\nComfortable working with different cultures.\n\nAbility to follow instructions and work collaboratively within international teams.\n\nWhat we offer:\nThe opportunity to work on some of the Nordic region's most significant data center projects.\nExposure to cutting-edge critical power and UPS technologies.\nA collaborative and fast-growing Center of Excellence environment.\nOpportunities to mentor engineers and develop your own technical expertise.\nA role with regional exposure across Finland and the Nordics.\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
