Tools including a company vehicle, laptop, hand tools, meters and smartphone.\nWhat will you do?\nAs a Field Service Representative, you will:\nProvide field service engineering, technical assistance, scheduling and sales support direction to customers in areas of installation, testing, startup, maintenance, repair, training and modification of electrical power distribution equipment.\nDeliver technical solutions to customers.\nMentor less experienced technicians.\nProvide technical training.\nPerform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards.\nQualifications:\nWhat will make you successful?\nThe ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Electrical Engineering or a related field. They should be skilled in evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems. Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to manage and successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously with a demonstrated accountability for outcomes is required.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nDiploma or Degree in Electrical field from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems.\nBusiness travel to customer sites required, utilizing company vehicle.\nRequired to travel to United States for training on safety and Eaton products. \nPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license. \nLegally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nWorking towards their Red Seal 309A\nCertified Engineering Technologist (CET) \nExperience in protective relays preferred.\nExperience in performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis preferred.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
