Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division is seeking a Field Services Project Manager to direct the execution of startup and commissioning projects for large data center clients.\nThese projects will be completed in conjunction with our District Operations Centers (DOC’s), with the Project Manager overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, control, and job closure activities.\nIn this position you will:\nOversee tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.\nReceive job handoffs and complete initial technical, scope of work, and scheduling requirement reviews.\nUtilize necessary project management tools, software, and other resources to maintain adherence to key milestones and deliverables on site.\nOwn coordination of project meetings (internal and external) and formal communication plans to key project stakeholders\nCoordinate and navigate Eaton scheduling and work activities around other trades, driving execution efficiencies for Eaton and customer\nDetermine mechanisms required for successful job closeout (punch lists / issue resolution, internal warranty, transition to owner or other entity).\nServe as primary point of contact throughout duration of EESS activities on site.\nCollaborate with DOC team to communicate any safety program initiatives, concerns, or oversights to customer, contractor, and subcontractor stakeholders.\nProvide financial oversight through cost control, warranty, change order management, and risk mitigation.\nWork closely with commercial operations teams, including North American Sales (NAS) Project Management Organization, sales engineers, and EESS Technical Application Support (TAS) organization to reconcile client expectations with order commitments, change orders, and timelines.\nImplement and cascade requirements associated with any program level initiatives or changes from technical program managers within the Strategic Operations organization.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to team members; demonstrate advanced project management, operational and commercial competencies to help develop team effectiveness.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nPossess High School Diploma/G.E.D. or higher\nMinimum 5 years of experience leading and/or managing electrical, construction, or industrial projects; or 5 years’ experience in services, sales, or manufacturing of electrical distribution products\nThis role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
