They act as the technical link between customers, sales teams, installers, and product development teams, ensuring that fire safety solutions meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.\nProvide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for fire alarm products and integrated life safety systems.\nAssist customers, consultants, and contractors with system design, specification, and product selection.\nConduct site surveys and assess system requirements for new installations and upgrades.\nSupport the commissioning, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.\nDeliver technical training to customers, partners, and internal teams.\nEnsure installations comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., BS 5839, EN54).\nInvestigate and resolve complex technical issues both remotely and on-site.\nCollaborate with engineering and product management teams to provide feedback on product performance and customer requirements.\nPrepare technical documentation, reports, application notes, and design recommendations.\nQualifications:\nLevel 4+ or equivalent desired in electrical engineering discipline\nA proven track record demonstration within the fire industry - commissioning, project management or technical sales with a minimum of 5 years experience\nSkills:\nThe candidate will require extensive knowledge of life safety systems within the regional area, ideally with a proven track record demonstration within commissioning, project management or technical sales with a minimum of 5 years.
