Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Inspection Machine Operator responsible for checking and inspecting of tubes, proof testing and flex rolling. They remove defective products, maintain records, and the manufacturing/production area to comply with regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures.\nHome Job Areas:\nInspection\nProof Testing\nFlex Roll\nIn this role, you will:\nInspect and measure dimensions of tubes to verify conformance to specifications using X-ray and other appropriate measuring tools (micrometer, measuring tapes etc.) and record accurately on paperwork\nProof test tubes\nAccurately record data (footage, scrap/defects) on appropriate paperwork (e.g. process travelers)\nDiscard or reject tubes not meeting specifications\nLoad turntable\nPut reel in take-up\nSet up Lasermic\nStaple end to reel, inspect for defects and place tape to splices.\nSet up and operate flex roller\nPerform duties relative to production in the assigned area and is able to operate all equipment and machinery in the assigned area\nReview work orders, specifications or instructions to determine material, ingredients, procedures, components and settings\nAccurately complete computer transactions (MFGPro etc.) as necessary (labor & scrap transactions, inventory disbursements & cycle counts, expense items, DMR, etc.)\nParticipate in cell/team activities including, but not limited to, team meetings, problem-solving, CI events, etc.\nMaintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment through effective housekeeping, 5S+ and TPM practices\nFollow all plant, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.\nSupport plant lean, safety, quality and continuous improvement efforts.\nModel the Eaton ethical conduct policy, Eaton Culture Model, the Eaton Values and Philosophy, and comply with all other corporate, plant, and regulatory policies and regulations as applicable.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
