Below are a few of the outstanding benefits we offer:\nHealth benefits and vacation time - available to use on day one of your employment!\nPaid holidays - up to 12!\nWeekly pay\nShift premiums - $2.50/hr for off shifts & Opportunities for overtime.\nCareer progression opportunities to cross-train in different departments and increase compensation.\nRetirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more!\nWhat you’ll do:\nEaton’s Electrical Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Lead Assembler - 3rd Shift to join our team!\nPosition overview:\nThe lead assembler is responsible for welding aluminum, copper, and for hooking up leads on secondary and primary coils and accessories for single and three phase transformers.\nIn this function you will:\n· Positions and shapes leads for proper clearance within tank.\n· Mig welds laminated leads to bus bar.\n· Brazes, welds, or crimps secondary leads to coil.\n· Assembles and hooks up dual voltage switches, tap changers singularly or in gangs and other accessories required. Must take into consideration the positioning, clearances, etc. required for tanking.\n· Fits, and cuts wood braces for secondary and primary leads, including layout, and bolts onto core and coil frame.\n· Measures and cuts leads to proper lengths. Measures, cuts, strips, insulates and crimps terminals on other required leads.\n· Minor coil repair, as needed caused by handling, etc.\n· Read Blueprints & Schematics.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nA high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree)\nThe ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship is required.\nNo relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
