Relocation assistance will also be provided, if needed.\nIn this role, you will perform products design for Eaton’s Residential circuit breakers with Arc Fault and ground fault protection. As a Senior Design Engineer, you’ll work on new products developments projects from the initial concept through the production launch. Additionally, you’ll work to keep third party certifications and compliance with standards, supporting the resolution of production, product quality issues and addressing customer application issues.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nIn this role:\nSupport in the design and development of complex analog and digital circuits, including power supplies, signal conditioning, and microprocessor support circuits.\nDevelop circuit breaker electronics design, testing and applications along with the applicable governing regulatory standards (UL, CSA, IEC, NEMA, etc.).\nSupport firmware and software developments for embedded systems/micro-controllers\nWork with and provide direction and mentoring team members.\nSupport production and field issues and work closely with manufacturing teams and field service teams in a timely manner.\nPerforms and contributes to technical research and investigations.\nContribute to domestic and international project teams assigned to research, design, develop, test and/or launch new products; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.\nHandle multiple projects and priorities, with the ability to switch focus as priorities change.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Eelctronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study from an accredited institution. \nMinimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/electronic engineering design roles\nMust be willing to relocate to Moon Twp PA (Pittsburgh area).
