The Quality Management function in Eaton ensures that Eaton's products and services meet the required standards of quality through direction of the quality assurance programmes and quality control policies and the application of the Quality Management System. It further ensures assurance that the QA Policy is performed by qualified and experienced personnel.\nWhat you’ll do:\nManage professionals in a defined area of Eaton.\nDevelop plans for their team to ensure optimum use of time and resources. Ensures team performance is aligned and contributes to the overall plans of their area.\nPlan and carry out a schedule of audits and assessments with completion of associated documentation and activities in accordance with the QMS\nConduct and/or facilitate investigations arising from Quality issues through to their documented conclusion, with supporting root cause analysis and solutions to prevent re-occurrence.\nManage completion and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventative measures\nEnsuring Quality measures with associated targets are maintained for Quality Assurance\nSupport of external Quality audits, assessments and visits by customers and authorities\nEnsuring that regular shop floor checks are performed, reported and any associated issues are effectively resolved\nSupport in the coordination and facilitation of timely responses and resolution of quality issues identified both internal or external.\nAssist with the generation of Quality Plans and proposals\nSupport in the generation of First Article Reports internally as well as any associated customer facing activities for product verification.\nSupport customer or supplier Source Inspection or Delegate Product Review Verification activities\nFacilitation of concession applications and engineering change requests\nParticipate in Engineering Design Project reviews and auditing these projects to ensure compliance to internal QMS requirements\nParticipate in Contract Reviews and New Business Proposal launches\nSupport Operators Approval Processes, including issuing of Stamps and Scopes of Approval\nEnsure the departmental objectives are achieved in line with the job holders individual objectives\nPerform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes\nDevelop and support of a business improvement culture and associated activities e.g. process mapping, lean, continuous improvements etc.\n Assist with the maintenance of company approvals e.g. EASA/CAA, FAR, ISO, AS etc. to maintain airworthiness\nQualifications:\nCertified Quality Auditor training\nEducation linked to Engineering Qualifications\nHas worked in an Aerospace Organisation\nExperience in:Aerospace quality standards (e.g. AS9100, EASA Part 21, Part 145 etc)\nOther aerospace topics e.g. FOD, counterfeit avoidance etc.\nFirst Article / Parts Approval reporting methods (E.g.
