The role drives early engagement, conceptual solution development, and thought leadership across data centre power systems, ensuring Eaton is positioned as a trusted advisor.\nThis role bridges Sales, Engineering, and Bid teams by translating customer requirements into technically robust, commercially viable, and innovative solutions that enhance win probability and strengthen Eaton’s market position in the data centre sector.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProvide technical expertise to sales, consultants, developers, and end users on data centre power infrastructure solutions.\nDevelop conceptual designs, system architectures, and solution strategies aligned to customer requirements.\nDevelop high-level designs covering UPS and DC back up power, MV/LV distribution and switchgear, power monitoring and integrated solutions.\nIdentify optimisation opportunities balancing performance, cost, scalability, and sustainability.\nDevelop a deep understanding of Eaton’s full portfolio, including core and adjacent offerings, to identify opportunities to expand value into the data centre segment.\nDrive market share by expanding Eaton’s scope within data centre projects through portfolio-led solution positioning.\nProactively identify and position non-traditional or emerging solutions (e.g., modular, prefabricated, containment, integrated systems such as ARCON-type solutions) to address evolving customer needs.\nTranslate Eaton’s capabilities into integrated, end-to-end solution architectures that go beyond individual product lines.\nDeliver industry education sessions, including lunch-and-learn events, seminars, and workshops.\nAct as a technical bridge between Sales and Bid/Proposal teams.\nProvide guidance to ensure technical consistency and differentiation in proposals.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 7 years of experience in electrical infrastructure, preferably in data centres, critical power, or similar sectors.\nStrong knowledge of data centre power systems (UPS, generators, MV/LV distribution, switchgear, Building Management Systems).\nUnderstanding of relevant standards (AS/NZS, IEC, Tier classifications, etc.).\nFamiliarity with integrated or modular (prefabricated) data centre solutions is advantageous.\nExperience in pre-sales, solution design, or consulting roles.\nExcellent communication and presentation capabilities.\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.\nTertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or related discipline\nWhat We Offer:\nFree on-site parking\nHybrid working\nCompetitive salary, car allowance and access to bonus scheme\nInclusive working environment\nVolunteer days\nOutstanding training and development programs for both professional and personal development \nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
