Eaton is a power management company founded in 1911 as a truck axle maker and now incorporated in Dublin with operational headquarters in Beachwood, Ohio. Its largest business by far is electrical, supplying circuit breakers, switchgear, uninterruptible power supplies and distribution equipment, a portfolio that has become unusually valuable as data centre construction and grid electrification accelerate demand for power infrastructure. The group also builds aerospace hydraulic and fuel systems, electric vehicle powertrain components and vehicle drivetrain products, and sells the Brightlayer software suite that monitors and optimises the equipment it manufactures.

Join Eaton as an M&A Integration Program Manager and help drive the successful integration of Boyd Thermal into Eaton. You will translate integration priorities into clear plans, measurable actions, and timely decisions. You will independently manage assigned initiatives while functional workstream leaders remain accountable for their functional deliverables. This position may be performed remotely within the United States, subject to Eaton’s remote-work requirements. The role requires periodic travel to Eaton and Boyd Thermal locations and regular collaboration across regions and time zones. Candidates must be comfortable travelling up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

You will coordinate cross-functional plans, milestones, risks, and executive reporting while partnering with leaders across functions and regions. This highly visible role offers broad exposure to post-merger integration, business transformation, and enterprise program management.

  • Coordinate integrated workplans, milestones, deliverables, and critical-path activities across assigned functional workstreams.
  • Independently manage selected integration initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring owners, due dates, dependencies, and expected outcomes are clear.
  • Maintain accurate program information in Eaton’s designated integration-management systems, including milestones, actions, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies.
  • Identify cross-functional conflicts, delays, and emerging risks; work with stakeholders on mitigation plans and escalate decisions through the appropriate governance forums.
  • Prepare concise status reports, dashboards, executive briefings, and presentation materials for Integration Management Office and executive governance reviews.
  • Facilitate working sessions and governance meetings by developing agendas, documenting decisions, assigning actions, and driving timely follow-through.
  • Coordinate the planning and sequencing of Transitional Service Agreement exits, capability stand-up activities, target operating-model changes, and other integration priorities.
  • Partner with functional, communications, and change-management leaders to support stakeholder engagement, readiness, training, and adoption activities.
  • Analyze program data and performance indicators to identify trends, improve visibility, and recommend actions.
  • Capture lessons learned and improve integration tools, templates, processes, and reporting practices for use in future acquisitions.

What a typical week may include

  • Updating integrated project plans, milestones, and dashboards.
  • Following up with functional owners on actions and deliverables.
