If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.\nWhat you’ll do:\nJob Summary\nThe Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, and conducting basic preventative maintenance on production equipment in an electronics assembly environment. The Machine Operator may also assist with assembly processes as needed.\nJob Responsibilities\nOperates PCB specialty machines as well as understand the basic preventative maintenance for those machines and ability to train.\nWork to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, to complete assembly or sub-assemblies.\nEscalate any issues in quality or machine maintenance upon discovery.\nAble to work independently to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to established procedures.\nWork closely with Engineering to assist with engineering change modification implementation. Incorporates Engineering change notices into assembly as instructed.\nResponsible for maintaining well organized materials storage for components, supplies and WIP assemblies\nResponsible for inspections of material before and after assembly using various fixtures gauges or tools.\nResponsible for contributing to the implementation and ongoing use of continuous improvement standards/events and 5S.\nAdheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.\nFosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.\nPerform all other duties and tasks as assigned\nQualifications:\nEducation level required\nHS diploma or GED from an accredited institution\nYears and area of experience required\n1-3 years machine operator experience\nTechnical knowledge\nAbility to setup machinery\nAbility to read process sheets\nVisual inspection of cold and hot parts\nEntering data into computer\nIPC Certified or the ability to acquire IPC certification (preferred)\nSkills:\nSoft skills\nComputer literate\nMust be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs with reasonable accommodation\nMust be able to stand for extended periods of time (6-8 hours a day).\nRepetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
