Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Maintenance Mechanic II performs routine and intermediate-level maintenance and repair of facility and production equipment. This position supports the maintenance team in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems. The incumbent works under general supervision while developing technical skills and contributing to the site preventative maintenance program.\nIn this function you will:\nPerform routine preventative maintenance and repair activities on production equipment, facilities, and support systems.\nAssist in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.\nRead and interpret basic mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.\nComplete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.\nFollow preventative maintenance schedules including lubrication, inspection, and component replacement.\nOperate common hand and power tools safely and effectively.\nAssist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery and facility systems.\nPerform minor plumbing repairs and general facility maintenance.\nSupport hazardous waste collection areas and site safety programs.\nCoordinate with contractors and vendors as directed by supervision.\nAssist with painting, carpentry, pipe fitting, electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution\nMust have a valid driver’s license\n1-2 years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience.\nBasic mechanical troubleshooting skills.\nBasic understanding of Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures\nBasic computer skills\nAble to read and interpret blueprints and tape measure.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
