This position is based at our Westminster, MD location.\nThe hourly rate for this position is $30 - $36 per hour.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs all factory equipment and facilities. Interprets electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical data. Performs electrical, mechanical and pneumatic maintenance and repairs. Ability to utilize basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment. Maintains maintenance spare part inventories. Orders parts and components. Coordinates with and directs contractors and vendors performing facility and equipment maintenance. Implements preventive maintenance program.\nIn this function you will:\nAbility to troubleshoot and diagnosis electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.\nAbility to interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.\nMaintain all equipment maintenance and repair records utilizing a CMMS\nFollowing a prepared schedule, lubricate machines and equipment using specified lubricants.\nOperate common hand and power tools, such as hand drill, saws, hammer, pliers, wire cutters, and wrenches.\nComply with all safety regulations/procedures and maintains a clean and orderly work area.\nWork from ladders and scissor lifts, as required.\nLead in installation of testing and machine equipment.\nChange coolants, soluble oils, filters and cleaning components of machines as called for by schedule or as required by supervisors.\nMaintain and repair of high-pressure pumps, valves and gauges.\nAssist other maintenance personnel tasks such as cleaning components of machines as called for by schedule or as required by supervisors.\nMaintain the main and satellite hazardous waste collection areas.\nSupport safety team, Confined Space, Hazmat, Crane/Hoist, and High-Pressure Testing, Hot work permitting, forklift and lock-out-tag-out processes.\nAssist with vendor management.\nLead a wide variety of duties by assisting or responding to direction from experienced craft personnel in painting, carpentry, pipe fitting, electrical, mechanical or general utility work, as required.\nPerform minor plumbing repairs or installations, such as sink traps, leaking faucets, faulty air or vacuum lines, and other general plumbing preventative and corrective maintenance.\nAs required, perform janitorial or watchman duties on any shift, including nights, Sunday and holidays\nAssist other maintenance personnel in tasks, such as cleaning machine tools, constructing walls or floors and snow removal.\nQualifications:\nRequired Basic Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution\nMust have a valid driver’s license\n4+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance and troubleshooting equipment.\nAble to safely operate hand tools.\nExperience with Lock-Out-Tag-Out\nBasic computer skills\nAble to read and interpret blueprints and tape measure.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
