Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.\nThis role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nThe key Responsibilities:\nProject management / Project work for plant related topics\nResponsible for achieving project deliverables under consideration of scope-, technical-, schedule-, cost-and quality constraints\nPrepare business cases prior project initiation\nDesign, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs\nAnalyze production data and identify areas for improvement\nImplement lean manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement initiatives and FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)\nFollow change management procedures\nCollaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products\nCreate article for new products in the ERP-system on plant level\nMaintain master data, bill of materials and routings in the ERP-system - checks calculations on plant level\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures\nCreate and maintains layout plans\nTroubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions\nSupport standardized work definition as well as the workplace design under the consideration of MESH and LEAN requirements\nProvide technical support and training to production staff.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (greenfield and industrialization is advantageous)\n3-5 years experience within a similar position\nSkills:\nComfortable with CAD, MS-Office, ERP-systems (SAP), LEAN and standardizes work (CI-tools knowledge)\nKnowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.\nDigitalization and automation project management experience would be a plus\nAccountable, teamwork, Motivated, engaged, proactive, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nCommunication and presentation skills\nFluent in written and oral English (German would be a plus)\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\nWe make your aspirations matter - Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible\nWe make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term - not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University\nWe make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the environment through power management technologies.\nWe make your wellbeing matter - We put your health and safety first.
