At Eaton, we’re dedicated to enhancing quality of life and protecting the environment with our innovative energy management technologies and services.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Manufacturing Engineer will lead manufacturing readiness for MES deployments across EMEA sites, ensuring master data, manufacturing processes, testing, and operational requirements are ready for successful implementation. Provide hands-on support through go-live and stabilization while ensuring alignment with global MES standards.\nMain Responsibilities:\nLead manufacturing readiness assessments for MES deployments, identifying gaps, risks, owners, and recovery actions.\nValidate manufacturing master data and prerequisites, including BOMs, routings, work centers, production resources, standard work, user roles, and equipment readiness.\nCoordinate manufacturing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring realistic test scenarios, effective defect management, retesting, and readiness before go-live.\nAct as the manufacturing focal point during MES deployment, coordinating resolution of master-data, process, workflow, and integration issues.\nProvide hands-on shop-floor support during go-live and hypercare to minimize production disruption and ensure operational stabilization.\nDrive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring manufacturing, master-data, user-execution, and integration issues.\nPartner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, MES, IT, and site teams while maintaining alignment with the approved global MES template.\nSupport MES expansion to additional production areas and improve deployment practices using lessons learned, standardized templates, and playbooks.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n5-8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Operational Excellence, Digital Manufacturing, Program Management, or related areas.\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing master data, including BOMs, routings, work centers, operations, resources, and production versions.\nExperience with MES, ERP, PLM, or comparable manufacturing-system deployments strongly preferred.\nExperience with MES deployment activities, including readiness assessments, data cleansing, UAT, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization.\nExperience with SAP and Dassault Systèmes Apriso preferred.\nFluent business English; additional EMEA languages are an advantage.\nSkills:\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop-floor execution, production planning, quality controls, traceability, and standard work.\nUnderstanding of ERP-to-MES data flows and Industry 4.0/digital manufacturing concepts.\nStrong structured problem-solving skills using methods such as RCA, 5 Why, 8D, A3, or DMAIC.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify data inconsistencies and drive corrective actions.\nHands-on, shop-floor-oriented approach with the ability to remain structured during go-live and production disruptions.\nStrong stakeholder management and ability to influence across functions, sites, and cultures.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across Operations, Engineering, and IT teams.\nComfortable with changing deployment priorities and frequent travel across EMEA.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nFlexible working solutions\nExcellent working environment - safety and ethics are important for us\nCulture & Values - we are more than the products we invent and produce - the way we do business is just as important.
