Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Materials Planning and Logistics Manager is responsible for inventory management, material handling, systems information flow, root cause analysis, shipping and logistics execution, and Inventory accuracy.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead end-to-end inventory processes across the DC, including management of ~$10M in finished goods inventory, cycle counting programs across a 2-shift operation, and maintaining physical inventory exemption.\nOwn inventory accuracy-related DC High-5 metrics through strategic projects, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement in receipt, storage, picking, and material flow processes.\nDevelop and optimize the strategy for location accuracy, including monitoring, auditing, and standard work documentation for Inventory Technicians.\nCreate visibility to in-transit inventory from interunit and external supply partners; translate insights into proactive advance planning with the DC Operations team.\nAnalyze data including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare consolidated managerial reports.\nOversee day-to-day shipping, receiving, and material handling operations; evaluate operational performance to support team performance management.\nCollaborate with the extended Bussmann Division SCM team to align DC inventory strategy with logistics, procurement, planning, and quality functions.\nAdhere to and enforce all safety rules and procedures; report unsafe conditions to management or the EHS Manager.\nProvide backup support to the DC Operations team.\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 1 year of experience leading people in a managerial role\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing/distribution center environment\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
