Our full benefits can be found here: Eaton Benefits\nWhat you’ll do:\nMold Operator role will set up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions.\nOperate, monitor, and maintain molding presses and auxiliary equipment to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe production.\nPerform mold setups, changeovers, and minor adjustments per established work instructions, engineering specifications, and Work Orders.\nVerify machine settings, part identification, and process parameters meet product and customer requirements prior to and during production runs.\nAccurately complete all required documentation, including routers, inspection records, scrap logs, and production reports.\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and report molding defects, assembly issues, and equipment malfunctions to supervision or maintenance.\nPerform rework and/or repair of molded and assembled parts in accordance with engineering changes, repair instructions, and approved procedures.\nRead, interpret, and follow blueprints, specifications, illustrations, work instructions, and visual aids to determine proper sequence of operations.\nPerform all packaging operations, including bagging, labeling, and boxing, in accordance with Work Orders and shipment requirements.\nFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies, quality concerns, and cost-reduction opportunities.\nMaintain compliance with aerospace quality systems, including traceability, configuration control, and controlled documentation.\nPerform additional duties as assigned in support of department and business needs. \nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications:\nMust have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.\n\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment\n\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Camarillo, CA (50 miles) will be considered for this position.\n\nThis position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.\n\nPreferred:\nPrior experience operating injection molding or transfer molding presses in an aerospace, medical, or other regulated manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems and related documentation requirements.\nKnowledge of resin handling, material drying, lot traceability, and shelf-life controls.\nAbility to perform basic troubleshooting of molding defects such as short shots, flash, burn marks, and dimensional variation.\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing concepts, continuous improvement, or 5S practices.\nStrong attention to detail with a proven history of maintaining low defect and scrap rates.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities, shift schedules, and production demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPosition Criteria:\nExcellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written\nAbility to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process specifications, drawings, and work orders.\nAbility to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools.\nAbility to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown.\nGood manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts.\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
