Relocation assistance is available.\nOur Omaha Power Center is expanding its operations in Bellevue! Eaton’s new 370,000-square-foot facility is expected to be online in 2027. The new facility will be designed and optimized to support high volume of switchgear structures at the quality and speed that AI data centers customers require. The engineered-to-order switchgear produced in the new facility can be integrated into Eaton’s prefabricated power systems, which are designed to offer customers flexibility.\nThis site leadership role is responsible for planning and execution of manufacturing operations programs including product line transitions between plants, production line moves, capital expenditure, industrialization of New Product Introduction (NPI), continuous improvement, and cost-out. The PM will also manage the plant's project portfolio and support its annual profit planning process.\nIn this role you will:\nAccountable for program scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.\nEnsure effective program management tools and processes are utilized, including the use of Eaton’s PROLaunch stage gate process.\nServe as the site PROLaunch Champion and lead the Operations Assessment (OpA) category for PROLaunch.\nLead cross-functional project teams through ambiguity by establishing program structure, operating cadence, objectives, and performance measurement.\nMaintain project business cases and comply with Eaton's Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) and asset capitalization processes.\nControl project spending, provide accurate forecasts, and monitor contingency utilization.\nEmploy effective requirements and change management techniques. Assess and promptly communicate potential impacts of any changes and recommendations to stakeholders.\nCreate and maintain detailed schedules using Microsoft Project, highlighting interdependencies between teams and holding team members accountable.\nApply manufacturing operations expertise to proactively identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve critical issues.\nEnsure successful transition from project execution to operational readiness, including equipment delivery/installation, FAT/SAT validation, workforce readiness, startup, and production ramp-up activities.\nManage equipment and inventory moves, cutover sequencing, supply continuity, and asset disposition for plant transitions.\nDeliver executive project reviews and provide transparent reporting on status, risks, schedules, and financial performance.\nEstablish accountability for teams, while fostering collaboration at all levels of the organization; across functions and between multiple manufacturing locations.\nDrive the team toward proactive decision making, considering difficult trade-offs between replicating existing manufacturing processes and adopting new methods.\nManage the plant's project portfolio and support its annual profit planning process.\nEnable continuous improvement through lessons learned, adoption of industry best practices, and active participation in Eaton's PMO community.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a formalized Project Manager role; accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and leadership of project teams\nMinimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering\nPMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or ability to obtain within one year of hire\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
