Complete final-inspection records and sign-offs only within the scope of assigned authorisation.\nIdentify, record and escalate non-conformances found during final inspection. Ensure affected products are held from release until corrective actions and any required re-inspection or re-testing have been completed and accepted in accordance with company procedures.\nCarry out incoming test, inspection, and strip survey processes across a wide variety of electronic, mechanical and pneumatic products.\nResponsible for testing and fault-finding service units to board level using Test Specifications and diagrams.\nRepair and assemble products and be able to carry out soldering to IPC 600 J standard 001.\nProduce meaningful investigation reports and Statement of work.\nEnsure that all documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date.\nAssist with training and mentoring.\nProvide technical assistance to internal customers.\nTo ensure repair products and turnaround time is achieved to meet our customer expectations.\nProviding regular updates to Supervisor.\nDemonstrate a level of innovation and recommendations within the cell to assist continuous improvements.\nOrdering and checking/rejecting of components.\nMaintain a high-quality standard that our customer expects.\nMatrix working and undertake work in accordance with your skill set.\nPlanning and organising daily tasks.\nQualifications:\nHNC or equivalent technical discipline.\nSkills:\nPrevious proven experience in an electronic, mechanical or pneumatic manufacturing environment working across a range of products.\nAble to read and understand technical drawings.\nAbility to work on own and within a team.\nProactive approach to problem solving.\nAble to give guidance and instruction when appropriate to team members.\nGood communication skills (both verbal and written).\nAble to follow instructions and provide recommendations for improvement.\nDemonstrates good attention to detail producing consistently high-quality work.\nHigh level of initiative.\nGood level of computer literacy.\nCan do attitude.\nExperience in managing daily key activities to achieve timescales to a high-quality standard.\nFlexible around working hours to help meet value streams targets.\nProven Capability to recognise IPC standards.\nPrevious experience of final inspection or quality inspection of electronic, mechanical or pneumatic products, including checking workmanship against approved criteria, reviewing test records and identifying non-conformances.\nPrevious experience working in the Aerospace industry.\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing techniques\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
