Below are a few of the oustanding benefits that we offer:\nHealth benefits effective day one of employment.\nRetirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more!\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Order Picker facilitates the movement of material throughout the distribution center by receiving, re-stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to enable the site to process customer orders.\nIn this function, you will:\nOperate reach truck and order picker in order to retrieve appropriate styles and quantities of material from warehouse locations (often from varying levels of height) using appropriate picking process.\nPlace materials in containers, visually inspect the product, verify with scanning equipment if required, and verify accuracy of product count. Utilize the same skills to restock/replenish.\nUnload and stage pallets of materials in appropriate areas of Shipping. Utilize packing slips to generate print move tickets, breakdown material, sort styles, verify count and restock appropriate warehouse locations via use of LXE computers to scan material, styles, location and re-verify count.\nVerify styles and quantities of materials picked. Visually inspect products, scanning and place in shipping carton. Place packing material in shipping carton to minimize potential of product damage during shipping. Place packing lists, content labels and shipping labels where appropriate.\nVerify styles and quantities of materials picked, checking styles, quantities and diverting to shrink wrap or shipping lane. Generate appropriate shipping labels and load onto designated carrier.\nResolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.\nMaintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts and perform work of equal or lower classification if necessary.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n6 months experience with Forklift/Cherry Picker/ Reach Truck and/or Order Picker operation experience.\nPosition Success Criteria:\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions.\nAbility to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the practice of good housekeeping.\nAbility to work specific shift hours and work overtime as required (see below).\nAbility to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time.
