Below are a few of the outstanding benefits we offer:\nHealth benefits effective day one of employment.\nRetirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more! \nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Pads Transformer Assmbler executes final assembly operations for electricity transformers in accordance with established standard methods and procedures.\nIn this function, you will:\nPerform tasks across various work centers, including tank breakdown, casing, small parts, vacuum chamber, palletizing, final assembly, and testing.\nAttach and install component parts and sub-assemblies onto transformer tanks (e.g., leads, bushings, brackets, fuses, switches, nameplates, arrestors, labels, stencils, bands).\nLoad, operate, and unload the vacuum system.\nPlace and anchor core/coil assemblies into tanks.\nExecute repetitive hand assembly, fitting, and adjustment operations.\nUse small power hand tools as required.\nAssist welders with the installation of hoods and seals.\nAddress any nonconforming parts or products through rework.\nSafely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.\nActively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.\nAchieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.\nAdhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.\nPerform other manufacturing duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered.
