This position is based at our Airdrie, AB facility.\nPosition Overview:\nReporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for manually and automatically painting produced parts using the powder coating paint system based at our Airdrie, AB facility.\nMaking what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential-and where you can help us reach ours.\nIn this function you will:\nMark orders as started or completed on DMM.\nHang, paint and offload all parts required for production, including parts being supplied to other Eaton facilities.\nPerform daily chemical testing, environmental tank cleaning and chemical handling as required.\nOperate the burn off oven system.\nStandard maintenance and ongoing equipment quality inspections.\nInspect finished products.\nPerform other duties as required.\nWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we - as individuals and as a company - are stronger.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.\nAt least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience working in a team environment.\nLegally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n2 years’ experience working on an industrial paint line.\nAbility to cross train and continuously learn.\nEffective time management and prioritization skills.\nKnowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with machines.\nAbility to recognize quality issues and make judgements.\nSkills:\nPosition Criteria:\nLifting and occasional heavy lifting/maneuvering up to 50 lbs with assistance or using lifting device.\nContinuous standing, reaching.\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.\nMaintain a positive commitment to the safety of self and others.\nStrong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills.\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
