The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm until 1:30 am and Friday from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Please note that during the first approximately 90 days, training will take place on first shift hours.\nThis position is eligible for a variable pay incentive program.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Assembly Technician II assembles, wires, and modifies work based on specified guidelines in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.\nWork to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instruction from supervisor or team lead to established procedures.\nFill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.\nMount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.\nRegularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.\nReport shortages to appropriate operators of Kanban inventory.\nInspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.\nRespond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.\nAssist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.\nTrain and coach colleagues to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.\nThis describes the general nature and level of work being performed and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.\nSkilled in the knowledge and safe use of hand and air tools.\n1 year of industrial manufacturing experience\nBasic Computer Skills\nEaton does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
