Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPosition Summary:\nThe Plant Supplier Development Manager is responsible for partnering with division supplier development team on improving plant specific supplier performance, capability, capacity, risk management, and supply continuity across Eaton's strategic supply base, focused primarily on critical suppliers supporting Eaton South Milwaukee operations. This role serves as the primary liaison between Eaton South Milwaukee and strategic suppliers to drive operational excellence, supplier readiness, delivery performance, resiliency, and long-term supplier development. The position partners closely with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to support business growth and customer commitments.\nOwn supplier performance across on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity readiness, productivity, risk management, and supply continuity.\nLead supplier business reviews, scorecards, KPI reviews, and performance action plans.\nDevelop strategic supplier roadmaps aligned to growth, sourcing, and manufacturing objectives.\nConduct supplier capacity assessments, readiness reviews, and scalability evaluations.\nLead supplier recovery efforts for constrained or underperforming suppliers.\nMonitor supplier investment, expansion, and operational capability plans.\nDrive supplier productivity and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve flow, capacity, and delivery performance.\nIdentify and mitigate supplier risks through proactive assessment and contingency planning.\nServe as the escalation point for major supplier performance issues.\nSupport new product introductions, production ramp-ups, and strategic sourcing initiatives.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related field from an accredited institution is required.\nA minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Supplier Development, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or Operational Excellence is required\nRelocation benefits are being offered for this position. Candidates that currently reside or are willing to relocate within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered.
