If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Press Operator operates assigned presses and related equipment to produce parts that meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity requirements.\nIn this role you will:\nReview and follow standard work instructions\nUtilize onsite software (PLEX) for inventory transactions\nUtilize calibrated equipment/tools such as calipers, micrometers or gauges as needed.\nMust perform periodic visual quality inspections while operating the press machine\nLoad, start, stop, set up and operate stamping presses\nMonitor production run and identify any quality concerns and escalating as needed\nBoxing of completed materials\nAchieve hour by hour targets\nComply and support daily 5S\nFollow EHS policies such as lockout/tagout, machine guarding, PPE requirements.\nLearn cross functional skills\nAdditional duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\nLegally authorized to work in the United States\n1 year manufacturing experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\n2 year of manufacturing experience is preferred\nHigh School diploma or GED Equivalent.\nSkills:\nPosition Criteria:\nWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand\nThe employee is moderately required to walk.\nThe employee is occasionally required to lift up to 35lbs, greater lifting will require machine or partner assist.\nFrequent bending, reaching are required\nNoise level in plant is moderate.
