Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Production Scheduler will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the materials required to support production activities. This includes managing manufacturing orders and ensuring accurate inventory through ERP transaction management. Reporting directly to the Materials Manager, this role will collaborate with customer service, internal and external suppliers, Product Engineering, and Production to provide exceptional support and meet customer needs.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nSchedule and maintain manufacturing orders\nExpedite materials, where required, to address gaps between current plan and requirements to meet or exceed customer expectations\nAnalyze inventory levels and forecast data to meet profit and inventory targets\nBalance inventory and manage fill rate to maximize value\nConduct MRP reviews, manage forecasts, and collaborate with vendors to ensure product availability\nReview requisitions, action exception messages, and expedite delivery of materials or services to meet production schedules and supplier on-time delivery (SOTD) goals\nMonitor in-stock and delivery status; take expediting actions and provide accurate “available-to-promise” updates to stakeholders\nMaximize effective use of ERP systems and other technology platforms to improve material management efficiency\nMaintain accurate Material Master records and source lists; reconcile supplier invoices for payment\nUnderstand and run system queries as needed within the ERP/operating system\nPerform cycle counts and support physical inventory to ensure accuracy within targets\nManage and maintain Kanban systems, vendor-managed programs, scheduling agreements, and blanket orders\nEnsure work orders are current, not overdue, and not stalled in pick status\nApply data analysis and analytical tools to drive process improvements\nDevelop strong process knowledge for procuring materials and services to meet delivery requirements\nProvide reporting and support annual cost reduction and process improvement goals\nMaintain a comprehensive understanding of total supply chain and logistics processes\nQualifications:\nBasic REQUIRED Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or an associate's Degree with 5 years supply chain experience.\nMinimum 3 years of work experience in material planning in a manufacturing environment\nMust be willing to relocate to Beaver PA. (Pittsburgh PA area). Relocation assistance will be provided from within the country in the USA.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Science, Business, or other manufacturing related fields from an accredited institution.\n5 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment\nAPICS Certification\nCertification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)\nTechnical knowledge & Soft Skills:\nStrong understanding of customer requirements, quality standards, and lead times\nExpert knowledge of work order management, production scheduling, and capacity planning\nProficiency in BOM management, item master setup, and MRP principles\nExtensive experience in demand planning and scheduling\nStrong communication and customer service skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders\nSolid knowledge of supply chain and purchasing reporting systems\nStrong understanding of quality assurance and data/reporting accuracy\nProven ability to apply process improvement methodologies\nExcellent problem-solving skills in complex, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel\nExperience in supplier development\nContinuous improvement mindset\nAbility to resolve business challenges and influence stakeholders\nWillingness and ability to interpret technical data for informed purchasing decisions\nDemonstrated experience supporting cross-functional teams\nAbility to learn and apply commodity strategies\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
