This position is based in Raleigh, NC.\nAs a Production Supervisor, you will be an integral member of Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Operations Team, with responsibilities to plan, coordinate, supervise and motivate the activities of all employees of the assigned product lines at Raleigh Plant Operations (RPO). In addition, you will utilize the employees assigned to other product lines to meet or exceed our safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency goals, while assisting the Operations Manager in implementing plant wide initiatives.\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year.\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProvide direct supervision for production employees in assigned area.\nParticipate in employment, staffing and performance management decisions, and maintain departmental personnel records and reports on productivity, quality, and attendance.\nProvide coaching, motivation, and counseling to employees to encourage optimum performance and continued skill development.\nDrive plantwide Continuous Improvement initiatives stemming from RPO Key Projects and others as deemed by Focus Factory and Plant Managers\nMaintain all departmental, work, vacation, overtime and related schedules.\nDevelop and implement schedules and manpower requirements to meet or exceed production plan.\nPlan and prioritize departmental as well as plant wide production schedules based on customer delivery dates, efficiencies, and material supplies.\nMonitor departmental and plantwide productivity to ensure that established quality and production levels are maintained or exceeded.\nPerform all duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Eaton and employee objectives and/or goals\nChampion the use of Eaton systems and tools to ensure appropriate execution within assigned areas\nEngage employees in manufacturing LEAN initiatives including but not limited to operator standard work, 5S, pull systems, empowered work teams, and structured problem solving.\nImplement and support behavioral based zero incident safety culture.\nFoster an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.\nCommunicate company policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure they are consistently practiced. \nCommunicate effectively with other departments to expedite the workflow and ensure the established quality expectations.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations or Engineering in a manufacturing environment.\nMinimum 1 years of direct supervisory experience.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nLean Manufacturing experience/certification\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nSAP experience\nSkills:\nPosition Criteria:\nAbility to successfully interface with all organizational levels & departments\nGood understanding and positive support of standard personnel and administrative policies, practices and legal requirements pertaining to business operations\nDemonstrated ability to build trust and credibility, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, manage through conflict, and strive for continuous improvement\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and systems and engineering processes.\nMust be open and available to work weekend overtime as needed.\nRequired working knowledge and experience with computers.\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
