Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\nWhat you’ll do:\nAs a Production Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction for a work group within the plant. You will track performance with respect to safety & the environment, quality, on-time delivery, cost for their respective area. In addition, you are the first line contact between production employees and the management staff and work on continuous improvement initiatives.\nIn this role you will:\nConduct Daily Team stand-up meeting with all department personnel in areas of responsibility.\nRepresent the company when interacting with production employees on the shop floor.\nHelp drive and implement safety policies and programs, meet operating budgets, complete continuous improvement plans, and coach employees on behavior/performance.\nMonitor control plans, troubleshoot workmanship problems and supervise production activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed established quality requirements.\nCreate the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work processes are followed, and countermeasures are implemented where necessary.\nEnsure that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instruction and tools to successfully perform job.\nUtilize lean six sigma methodologies to reduce operational costs, inventory and lead-times as well as ensure alignment with long-term manufacturing strategies.\nDevelop and establish manufacturing priorities based on the production schedule and monitor employee work requirements in order to meet customer deadlines.\nQualifications:\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\nAssociate's degree from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of two (2) years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience.\nMinimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, or related field of study from an accredited institution.\nTwo (2) years machining experience (CNC, manual machining, etc.).\nThree (3) years of related experience including increasing responsibility and leadership of projects and teams of considerable size, scope, and complexity in a manufacturing environment.\nFoundry experience.\nExperience with SAP business system experience.\nExperience with Microsoft Office platform.\nExperience with Union environments.\nExperience with Continuous Improvement projects.\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
